Whiteside School District No. 115 will assess a registration fee to defray the cost of consumable school materials such as workbooks, weekly publications, etc. The registration fee will be DUE THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL. For those who cannot pay at that time, special arrangements can be made by contacting the school office. Waivers are available based on level of income. If registration fees are not paid, the right to participate in extra curricular or special activities may be forfeited. Delinquent fees will be turned over to an attorney. This applies even if a family has moved from the district. Please note that the District does not refund fees if a student moves from the District before the end of the school year.
No reference books shall be removed from their assigned sites without authorization.
STATE SCHOOL REPORT CARD
Each year, the State of Illinois issues a School Report Card. In it, you will find extensive information about our District including demographics and student achievement. We are proud that Whiteside students have continually scored above the State average in nearly every area of the curriculum.
In order to develop student responsibility, students are prohibited from using the school phone for trivial matters. If there is an important reason for calling, the students will be allowed to use the phone. A telephone pass from a teacher is required if students use a hallway phone.
